Bail Enforcement

The Bail Enforcement class is taught as needed by student demand throughout the year. To register for the next available class, or be added to the waiting list please contact Registration at (801) 957-5200. To register in person come to the Larry Miller Campus located at 9750 South 300 West, Miller Professional Development Center room #110, Registration desk and sign up using a credit card, check, or money order. Driver's Education

The Salt Lake Community College Drivers' Education Program is offered at the Larry Miller Campus, 9750 South 300 West. The program is offered through the college as non-credit. Students pay a flat fee of $250.00 to attend. Utah State Laws require 18 hours of classroom instruction and 12 hours of on-road driving/ observation. Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Law Enforcement Academy

The Law Enforcement Academy has a National Entrance Exam that everyone must take and pass to apply for the program. The test is available Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the South City Campus (1575 South State Street) in room W-291. No appointment is necessary. Please be prepared to present a government issued photo ID with your birth date and signature (Drivers License, or similar ID). Everyone must check-in before 5:30 PM in the Student Center room E-148 to pay for parking and the $30.00 non-refundable testing fee which must be paid before the exam is taken.

Motorcycle Rider Education

The Motorcycle Safety Education classes are taught year round in various locations across the state of Utah. The Beginners Rider Course (BRC) fee is $180.00, the Experienced Rider Course (ERC) fee is $90.00. We are now offering a Scooter Course for those who meet the criteria of 100 cc's or larger, and no bigger than 350 cc's. The Scooter must be insured, licensed and the driver must have a learners permit to attend the class. The Scooter Course fee is $180.00. Experienced Rider Courses are taught as needed by student demand on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
