The Developmental Education Department is to ensure every student entering Salt Lake Community College the opportunity to improve basic educational competencies and life skills by enhancing college performance skills, by strengthening positive attitudes, by self-image and personal development, and by providing other learning enrichment opportunities that will help lead to success in the college environment and in life.
