TOXNET

Toxnet provides access to a system of databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas. HSDB (Hazardous Substances Data Bank), CCRIS Chemical Carcinogenesis Research Information System) from the National Cancer Institute, and GENE-TOX (Genetic Toxicology/Mutagenicity Data Bank)and IRIS (Integrated Risk Information System) both from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

National Library of Medicine's NLM's search service to access the 9 million citations in MEDLINE and Pre-MEDLINE (with links to participating on-line journals), and other related databases.

From the world's largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine. Covers over 500 diseases and conditions. Lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and dictionaries, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials.
