Middle Search Plus

FULL-TEXT for more than 150 popular, magazines for middle and jr. high school research. Articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).

Military & Government Collection

Pertaining to all branches of the military and government, this database offers cover-to-cover FULL-TEXT for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and indexing and abstracts for nearly 400 more.

Newspaper Source

Provides FULL-TEXT for selected articles from over 180 newspapers, newswires, and other sources. Updated daily.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center

A FULL-TEXT one-stop source for information on today's hottest social issues. Includes information from the Opposing Viewpoints book series, plus viewpoint articles, topic overviews, magazine and newspaper articles, primary source documents, statistics, images and podcasts, and links to Websites.


Our current subscription to OVID includes full text from these titles: American Journal of Nursing, Journal of Nursing Administration and Journal of Nurses in Staff Development. In addition, the archived collection formerly subscribed to by the Utah Academic Library Consortium (UALC) is also available. It should be noted that the three titles in the current subscription run up to the present time, but the archived collection has access to full text no later than 2007. It should also be noted that this database is no longer based on a deposit account.

Philosopher's Index

(Part of EBSCO) (1940 to present) No Full-Text. ABSTRACTS ONLY Covers scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. It is considered the most thorough index of journal literature on the subject, and indexes nearly 570 journals from 43 countries in a variety of languages.
