How COVID-19 Will Impact Library Services

  • At this time, library services are still being offered at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus and South City Campus. Services at the Jordan and Miller Campus Library will resume on June 1st pending the opening of those campuses. For more information about the hours, call 801-957-4602.
  • Everyone is asked to wear masks, if possible, and continue to observe the necessity for social distancing.
  • Hours are subject to change at any time depending on COVID-19 conditions.

    Hours of Operation--UPDATED

    The hour of 9-10 a.m. is reserved for "high-risk" population during the COVID-19 pandemic.
    The hours of 10 a.m. to closing are open to the general public.
  • Taylorsville-Redwood Markosian Library hours:
    Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Saturday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
  • South City Library hours:
    Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Jordan Campus Library hours (starting June 1st):
    Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Miller Campus Library hours (starting June 1st):
    Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    Laptops and Hotspots

  • The Taylorsville-Redwood Markosian Library has laptops available for students to check out. For more information, call 801-957-4602.
  • The Taylorsville-Redwood Markosian Library will have additional hotspots available for checkout. Supplies are limited and there may be a waitlist. Call 801-957-4610 for availability or to be added to the waitlist.
  • Check outs for student laptops and hotspots will be extended the end of the semester.
  • Laptops are available for faculty and staff to checkout through the Taylorsville-Redwood Campus Faculty Support. Check outs are by appointment only. Please call 801-957-4998 or e-mail Shiow-Mei Lake for more information or to set-up an appointment.
  • Services

  • The library will continue to check out books, DVDs, and other materials at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus and South City Campus locations.
  • You can return your materials to the library by either dropping them off at the checkout desk or leaving them in one of the book drops located outside of the library buildings.
  • If you have issues or concerns about returning your items, please call 801-957-4602 for assistance.
  • The cafe at the Markosian Library will continue to sell food items to patrons.
